Treat yourself with Jill Shalvis's new Holiday Novella。 Mistletoe In Paradise encompasses my favorite tropes。 Friends to lovers and second chances。 James & Hannah have been friends since childhood and have loved each other since they were teenagers。 Life and a painful loss pushed them away from each other, but this Christmas they are getting a second chance at love。 This short novella has everything you crave in a great romance novel。 Angst, Alpha, Humor and Heart! Loved this book!
BBMoreB ~,
Hannah & James have a long, rocky, history - a little manipulation and things get heated between them。I got this early。。。and Jill Shalvis kicked my holiday reading off amazingly。 Second chance stories are a favorite, and with Ms。Shalvis' ability to deliver solid, lovable, characters - this is a Win!!!This novella has it all - quick, easy read -
Cathie,
Great novella to get you ready for the Christmas season。 Hannah and James's story was a wonderful second chance romance。 I loved how Hannah's step father does a little of his own matchmaking with these 2, but they do have a past that needs put to rest。 Short sweet and heart warming。 Jill always does a wonderful job on anything she writes。
Karen,
Eyes open。。。NOWThis was a cute novella where the author reminds two people what is important in life!Hanna and James have loved each other for years。 It took Harry to set things in motion
Beth,
I love Jill Shalvis's books, but this one did not do it for me。 I couldn't get get into the characters or the romance。 A rare miss, in my opinion。 Still looking forward to the next Wildstone book。。。。

Mia,
A second chance at love? Always with Jill Shalvis。Hannah and James were in love secretly as teenagers but things changed and they moved on with their lives。 Growing up, their families had always gone away on a cruise for the holidays。 Thanks to some trickery on the part of their parents, they are stuck together on a sailboat at Christmas time to work out their issues and hopefully realize they are still in love with each other。This is a fast paced book since it is a novella。 (A novella is A second chance at love? Mary,
A great readI loved it but all of MS。 Salvia books are great reads。 Second chances are always great reads as well and this was just right。
Barbara,
Loved it!This was a quick, enjoyable read。 It seems that the parents knew something the now adult kids should have figured out a long time ago。 And it appears there was a bit of interference going on by those same parents to get Hannah and James together。 Hannah and James get a second chance to slow down and really live and love, rather than just work their lives away。 Can they do it?
Abigail Books Addiction,
I have to say every time Jill Shalvis releases a new book, she is the queen in writing such cute romance stories that I devour them in a single day。 I will stop everything in order to read her book。 Forget any responsibility, I have to read。 Thats my motto whenever she releases a new book。 And she just released one this week。 Mistletoe in Paradise is a short romance read but its perfect for the holiday and to get us through until her next release in January。 There is always a new character I have to say every time Jill Shalvis releases a new book, she is the queen in writing such cute romance stories that I devour them in a single day。 I will stop everything in order to read her book。 Forget any responsibility, I have to read。 That’s my motto whenever she releases a new book。 And she just released one this week。 Mistletoe in Paradise is a short romance read but it’s perfect for the holiday and to get us through until her next release in January。 There is always a new character whenever Jill Shalvis writes a story。 And they get better and better as we get fresh new books。 Hannah and James do not disappoint at all。 They are a former couple but things change when you reunite again。 Old wounds may catch-up but it’s up to you if you are willing to repair the relationship。 Let’s say that Hannah and James are more than willing。 。。。more
Christina Reed,
I love that we get to return to Wildstone, but this takes place in Paradise。 These two were childhood sweethearts, so the fact that they got a second chance was great。 I love the way Shalvis writes and how relatable her characters are。 There was definitely some heartbreak, but it was on the lighter side。 This story was one that I got sucked into and read in one sitting。 I adore holiday reads and this was a great way to start off my holiday reading。

I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review。 I have read the entire Wildstone series and most of Jill Shalvis' works。 I am a huge fan and would recommend her books, especially the Wildstone series。 Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone。This book follows Hannah and James。 Every year their two families would get together for a yacht excursion to the tropics。 That all changed after a family tragedy hits both families。 Years later James and Hannah finally I received an advanced reader copy of this book to leave an honest review。 I have read the entire Wildstone series and most of Jill Shalvis' works。 I am a huge fan and would recommend her books, especially the Wildstone series。 Each book in the series can be read as a stand alone。This book follows Hannah and James。 Every year their two families would get together for a yacht excursion to the tropics。 That all changed after a family tragedy hits both families。 Years later James and Hannah finally see each other again。 They try to ignore their connection and past but slowly they begin opening up to each again。 Can Hannah let go of the stranglehold of her job? Can James settle down from his wanderlust ways? Both led such different lives after their tragedies but will they let them continue to tear them apart? Mistletoe in Paradise bought childhood friends together again, on a boat in the Caribbean。 Where they spent a week each year around Christmas together when they were younger, but when James brother died, everything changed。 Now together again, will work get in the way, or will Hannah and James reconnect。
C。J。 Butcher,
This second chance friends to lovers romance is short and sweet and takes about an hour to read。 I couldn't quite figure out why it's part of the Wildstone series because other than the Epilogue it features none of the characters, none of the stories we've come to love and not one of the characters involved in the story has been involved in another story。 I don't remember either of the characters in any of the other books before so maybe they were really short side characters。 This was a really This second chance friends to lovers romance is short and sweet and takes about an hour to read。 I couldn't quite figure out why it's part of the Wildstone series because other than the Epilogue it features none of the characters, none of the stories we've come to love and not one of the characters involved in the story has been involved in another story。 I don't remember either of the characters in any of the other books before so maybe they were really short side characters。 This was a really cute story with a serious storyline that attacked real-life stuff and I found this to be more in the women's fiction genre than that of contemporary fiction。 I find that this has been happening a lot and it's not a bad thing but a bunch of authors are crossing the line between the two genres。 This book was really short and I would have loved if it was longer。 I didn't feel like the emotional development and connection could be felt in the shorter length with this novel that could have been felt in her longer novels。 Overall, she did a good job and I enjoyed it, i just wish it was longer。 。。。more

Mistletoe in Paradise isn't your normal Christmas story。 I loved it because of that。 What happens when you are stuck on a sailboat with the one person who wrecked you when you were younger is the last person you ever want to see again? Mistletoe in Paradise was a quick, easy read。 It's a sweet second chance romance that had me tearing up in a couple spots。 I loved the history between Hannah and James。 The fact that they were childhood friends and knew so much about each other, had always been there for each other, gave the story an emotional punch。It always amazes how an author can create such well developed characters in a novella, and Ms。 Shalvis did just that with MiP。 I found myself quite invested in Hannah and James, and Mistletoe in Paradise was a quick, easy read。 It's a sweet second chance romance that had me tearing up in a couple spots。 I loved the history between Hannah and James。 The fact that they were childhood friends and knew so much about each other, had always been there for each other, gave the story an emotional punch。It always amazes how an author can create such well developed characters in a novella, and Ms。 Shalvis did just that with MiP。 I found myself quite invested in Hannah and James, and their families。 I wasn't expecting to become so invested in these characters, but I found myself rooting for their hea! 。。。more

Mistletoe in Paradise is a wonderful book by Jill Shalvis。 I have yet to read a book by Jill that I didn't love。 This is a fun quick read to get us in the Christmas spirit。 This is a second chance romance between Hannah and James。 They are childhood friends who have some things from the past to deal with。 A trip to the Caribbean is perfect for all of us since most of us are stuck at home
